In 2023 Third Energy’s assets in North Yorkshire became a majority owned subsidiary of CeraPhi Ltd. and include 8 sites and subterranean pipelines. The aquisition was a positive step in support of the company’s onging aim is to be at the forefront of North Yorkshire’s transition from fossil fuels to sustainable energy. by proactively playing a part in innovative energy solutions and energy development.
During its 25 years of stewardship the operations, drilling, and well works were managed safely and with no adverse impact to the environment or communities. The new management are committed to maintaining the same focus for future operations.
Third Energy is now focused on renewable energy by re-purposing its gas wells to generate renewable heat for local horticultural and commercial applications. Providing clean energy for local people and businesses.
